More than 400 children and their families were in attendance at the 3rd Annual Free Children's Health Fair at the ARC on the Grace Hudson School campus Sun. Oct. 9. Due to the generous contributions from Soroptimist International of Ukiah, Operating Engineers and Credit Bureau of Ukiah, 180 bike safety helmets were given to children in need. Pacific Outfitters inspected the bikes, Erika Holzhauer and Deputy Sheriff Dan Lockhart guided the kids through the bike course while Katie Kight and Doreen Knox from Savings Bank handed out helmets.
