Soroptimist International of Ukiah New Member Induction October 2011. Past President Anne Holden persented the induction ceremony welcoming our newest SI Ukiah members to Soroptimist and our club.
 Soroptimist International of Ukiah and Yokayo Sunrise are happy to contribute 50 handmade fleece blankets to Redwood Children's Services.
We'd like to thank our October guest speakers; Willow Anderson, RCS and Ashley Bergen, CAC for sharing information about the many positive ways their organizations support the youth in our community.   More than 400 children and their families were in attendance at the 3rd Annual Free Children's Health Fair at the ARC on the Grace Hudson School campus Sun. Oct. 9. Due to the generous contributions from Soroptimist International of Ukiah, Operating Engineers and Credit Bureau of Ukiah, 180 bike safety helmets were given to children in need. Pacific Outfitters inspected the bikes, Erika Holzhauer and Deputy Sheriff Dan Lockhart guided the kids through the bike course while Katie Kight and Doreen Knox from Savings Bank handed out helmets.  A warm welcome to our newest club member Glenys Simmons!
