Ukiah Valley Medical Center Colposcope
In 2009 SI Ukiah donated approximately $6,000 to UVMC towards the purchase of a colposcope, a tool used during sexual assault examinations. It can be instrumental in both assessing a patient’s condition and providing details to help apprehend and prosecute those who perpetrate violence against women.
As her President's Project in 2011 and 2012, Tami Glasco requested a donation be made by the club to benefit the training of nurses that use the colposcope.
