Thank you to Lisa Kelly and Stephanie Paige, Dominican University of California Ukiah Center, for speaking at our club meeting today!  Enjoyed the fun Bingo Game presentation!  We'll look forward to their Open House June 6th.

Their Mission: To train teachers to become student-centered educators who ground their practice in current educational theory, work collaboratively, exhibit sensitivity to culture and community, and demonstrate continuous professional development.

Thank you to our March guest speaker Ronda Giangreco, author of The Gathering Table, Defying Multiple Sclerosis with a Year of Pasta, Wine, and Friends.  We were privileged to be the first group she spoke to before she goes on to many other speaking engagements which include the Memphis Chapter of the National MS Society and appearing on the Today Show.

Just released this month, the book is now available on Amazon.

Thank you to guest speaker Molly Johnson Martinez, Anderson Valley Quilt Literacy Group.  Los Hilos de la Vida (The Threads of Life) group tell their stories with fabric and thread.  Their quilts depict scenes of family life, border crossings, life in Mexico, dreams, and reverence for the natural and spiritual worlds.

They are dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment where women are able to remain sober and stay in recovery while giving and getting support to live a life of health, happiness, success and inspiration.  They offer a safe environment that promotes wellness, fosters independence, and encourages self-reliance.
